Terms of use.
The basis on which this site is published and may be used.
These terms cover the use of the Christian Media Report website. By using the site you accept them. They are written plainly and are reviewed as the site grows.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, link to and cite the material here. When you cite a figure, please include its source and, where we give one, its base, so the number is not repeated out of context.
Requesting the report
To receive the report you give us your contact details. Christian Media Report is an initiative of New Faith Network, and by requesting the report you agree that New Faith Network may use those details to send you the report and to contact you about it, about related research and about New Faith Network’s own work. You can opt out of that contact at any time, and the privacy notice explains how your data is handled and the rights you have over it.
The research and its figures
The findings on this site come from the European Christian Media Survey, described in full on the methodology page. The survey reaches an engaged Christian audience through one platform’s list. It is not a representative sample of any national population, it is not weighted, and it should be read with the limits set out in the methodology. Figures are published for information and analysis; they are not advice, and no decision should rest on a single number taken in isolation.
We take care to publish accurately, and we correct mistakes openly when we find them or when you tell us. Beyond that, the material is provided as is, without warranty, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of it.
Ownership
The text, analysis, charts and design on this site belong to Christian Media Report and New Faith Network, unless stated otherwise. Survey figures may be quoted with attribution. Please do not republish whole articles or reproduce the report in full without asking us first.
Where we cite other organisations’ research, that work belongs to them and is credited to them.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a publisher or a source, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date below shows when they last changed. Questions about them can be sent to iemke.roos@beyonddutch.com.
